The rocky shores of Malta’s Gozo Island are inhabited by an eery beauty, derived from desolation rather than decoration. The scenery is harsh and unwelcoming, but a uniquely wonderful experience.
It truly feels like the edge of the world.
The gruff terrain of Gozo has proven very popular with Hollywood, providing a striking setting for many films, including one of my favorite bad movies, Renny Harlin and Geena Davis’ Cutthroat Island. That alone is enough reason to visit the island!

Inland Gozo hides sleepy small towns surrounded by rolling green hills
Gozo is also just a short cruise away from the beautiful Comino and the legendary Blue Lagoon!
